What is Nutritional Therapy?

I studied holistic nutrition and root cause healing through the Nutritional Therapy Association. Nutritional Therapy focuses on the bio-individuality of each client, recognizing that no two bodies are the same, and subsequently require different needs to find balanced optimal health!

We focus on six key foundations of the body for each individual:

  • Nutrition & Diet

  • Digestion

  • Blood Sugar Balance

  • Dietary Fats

  • Mineral Balance

  • Hydration

Nutritional Therapists have a variety of tools to detect potential imbalances in their clients. These include a Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (the NAQ), food and mood journals, a health history review, and most importantly: thoughtful and meaningful conversations. You will receive a nutrition and lifestyle protocol tailored specific to your health!

On a personal note: Since completing the NTA course, my health changed in ways I could not even fathom. I have seen a complete 180 degree shift in my comfort levels, bloating, bowel movements, and day-to-day energy levels. I even now have a “normal” menstrual cycle for the first time in over twelve years. You can see my NAQ symptom burden graph, one of our many tools, below! The red is how I felt in the beginning of our course in February, and the blue is how I felt at the end, in November. You can see how much the symptoms came down!

If you’re ready to get down to the bottom of your imbalances, discomforts, bowel issues, etc. and start to heal from the inside out, let’s work together!

Because I am a chef and so deeply rooted in the world of the kitchen, I use my training as an NTC to specialize specifically in creating personalized meal plans and nutrition and diet lifestyle plans for clients.

Nutritional Therapy Consultants do not diagnose or treat disease, but work to correct imbalances within the body from the root cause to guide individuals back to a state of optimal health and function.
