-1 can fire roasted tomatoes*
-1 bunch cilantro
-Juice from 1 lime
-Pinch of salt
*You can also do these DIY by roasting about 2 cups of chopped tomatoes in the oven, at about 400 degrees F, for about 45 minutes
**De-seeded if you do not like a lot of heat
1. Place all ingredients in a high powdered blender or a food processor. Pulse until well combined. Done!
I am salsa-OBSESSED and it is virtually (maybe even literally) impossible to find a store-bought salsa without garlic and onions, let alone without sugar. This is a healthier, fresher version of the store bought kinda, and honestly, it takes the cake. I eat it with chips but I also cook with it. It goes great with breakfast tacos as well!
